Making your reservation for skiing the Glacier is easy. We do not need a deposit, or a credit card number, just your contact details.

Important: All bookings need to be reconfirmed 48 to 24 hours out.

Important Details - the "fine print"

"Carry Over" Option

A "carry-over" option allows you to roll your booking over to the following day. This can happen if we cannot operate on your first day of choice because of bad weather.

The Southern Alps has a changeable temperate maritime weather system. We recommend flexibility with your travel and booking plans.

This is important through August (our busiest month). Carrying-over booking is not automatic. Please let us know when you make your reservation.

 

Reconfirming your booking

Please reconfirm your booking 48-24 hours before your Ski The Tasman day.

Why reconfirm?

We will pass on important information - like the weather forecast, and snow conditions.

If you cannot reconfirm and we are unable to contact you we reserve the right to cancel your reservation.

 

Cancellation Policy

Because Ski The Tasman is a weather-dependent activity, pre-payment is not required.

We reserve the right to cancel Ski The Tasman due to bad weather. This decision is normally made at 07:00 on the day of operation.

In this case a refund of 100% is due for any pre-paid guests, who are unable to re-book for a later date.

For cancellation by the guest (for reasons other than bad weather) :

  • Cancellation by pre-paid guests up until 19:00 hours of the day before their booking will incur no cancellation fee. Cancellation can be made by phone, fax, or email
  • There will be a 50% charge for pre-paid guests who “no-show” when the weather is operable.
