Air Access - Mount Cook Ski PLanes

Mount Cook Ski PLanes logoMt Cook Ski Planes fleet of Pilatus Porter PC6, and Cessna 185 ski planes provide air access to ski the Tasman Glacier.

Ski Planes are fitted with retractable skis for safe snow landings. This equipment was pioneered at Mt Cook in the 1950’s.

If landing conditions are not suitable for ski planes we use helicopters to transport our guests into the mountains.
